Lamian noodles are a Chinese noodles that are handmade. The noodles are pressed, rolled and stretched from the dough. “La”, literally means to pull and “mian” is noodles. (Think chow-mian)

These traditional noodles date back to 1500s.

They are usually eaten in noodle soups. The soup cooks these handmade noodles.
