The outpouring of love, support and relief for the Kerala flood victims has been kicked off in Bangalore in a big way. While everyone stands with Kerala for this occasion, the auspicious Malayali festival of Onam is upon us. In the hope that another natural calamity doesn’t hit us, an auspicious Onam Sadhya in Bangalore is a small way to show you care. So where can you eat a traditional Onam Sadhya?

Clarks Exotica

Chef Suresh Babu has the full Sadhya spread with dishes like Chakkara Upperi, Papadam, Kerala Banana, Injipuli, Kozhi Varathathu, Muttakos Thoran, Avial, Olan, Puliserry Kalan, Chenna Mezhakkupuratti, Sambhar, White & Red Rice, Rasam, Ada Pradhaman, Pal Payasam and a Live Counter for Idiyappam with Coconut Milk. The menu is Rs 900 plus taxes and available on 25 August, 2018.

BonSouth

Chef Manu Nair has a menu of traditional Malayali dishes like Pazham Puri, Parippu Vada, Olan and avial. The menu is priced at Rs 950 and is on offer from 24 to 26 August, 2018.

Southindies

With a full Sadhya Southindies has a dessert offering of Parippu Payasam,Paal Ada Pradaman and Pazham Purungidu. The menu is Rs 750 and available from 24 to 26 August, 2018.

Leela Palace has an Onam Sadhya menu as well. While the Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway is donating Rs 100 from each Sadhya sold towards relief for flood victims, The Oberoi has cancelled their Onam Sadhya in solidarity with those unable to celebrate in Kerala. Bangalore restaurants have each reached out in a remarkable way.
