Chinese New Year at Memories of China

The year of the rooster is thought to be a year of fire and fortune. The Chinese New Year rings in spring and is also called the Spring Festival. Memories of China at Vivanta by Taj on MG Road celebrates Chinese New Year with a special menu.

This menu is created by their Master Chef, William Tong. The a la carte menu has a variety of China’s most popular delicacies from the Cantonese and Szechuan regions. These dishes are made especially during New Year.

Some of the dishes on the menu are Singing Chicken, Cantonese style Roasted Chicken, Spicy Tender Chicken with Pok-Choy, Fried Prawn Coated with Wasabi and Mayonnaise and more. The vegetarian selection on the menu includes Chef’s Special Lotus Stems Water Chestnut and Mock Meat, Stuffed Shiitake Mushrooms and Vegetables in Light Soya Sauce, Golden Fried Eggplant with Seven Spices and more.

The Chinese New Year menu is available for lunch and dinner on 28 January, 2017. The average price for two is Rs 3000.
