Description

The State Central Library in Bangalore is one of the largest and oldest libraries in India. It was founded in 1888 and has a collection of over 3.14 million books, including a copy of every book ever published in the state of Karnataka.

The library is located in Cubbon Park, one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Bangalore. The library building is a red brick structure with a central dome and four corner turrets. It is a popular destination for students, researchers, and book lovers of all ages.

The library has a wide variety of books and resources on all subjects, including fiction, non-fiction, children's books, newspapers, and magazines. It also has a special collection of rare and old books.

The library is open to the public from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm on weekdays and from 8:30 am to 5 pm on weekends. Admission is free.
