Event Description

Established in the 1960s, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath (CKP) has been a pivotal institution in shaping modern and contemporary art in Karnataka. As an art school, museum, and cultural hub, it has nurtured generations of artists and art lovers.

This session brings together eminent voices — S G Vasudev, M J Kamalakshi, Ravi Kashi, and Suresh Jayaram — to reflect on the origins, evolution, and enduring impact of CKP. Through personal memories, critical insights, and shared histories, the conversation will explore CKP’s role in building a vibrant artistic community and its relevance in today’s cultural landscape.

This session will be bilingual in Kannada and English.
