KUTEERA is the Crafts Council of Karnataka’s (CCK) annual exhibition and sale, providing a platform for the craft community to showcase new design developments and hand-crafted products. Through this exhibition, CCK aims to bridge the gap between creators and buyers, offering a unique opportunity to meet the artisans and purchase directly from them. CCK is a not-for-profit organization affiliated with the Crafts Council of India and the World Crafts Council. Our main objectives are to create a bridge between craft communities and source markets, facilitate design intervention, upgrade technologies, and help revive, support, and preserve the languishing crafts of Karnataka.
For this edition of KUTEERA, CCK has partnered with Creative Dignity, which is a movement that has brought together diverse creative producers, practitioners, and professionals to energise the ecosystem of Indian artisans, the second largest employment generator in the country after agriculture. Their vision is for a world where artisans have the agency to thrive with dignity.
