Event Description

Join us for an immersive guided walk through the Ethno-Medicinal Garden at the University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology.

Encounter India’s medicinal flora sensorially, from familiar healing herbs to rare, traded, and endangered species that have sustained generations. Post the walk, we will visit the university herbarium, one of India’s most distinguished repositories dedicated to medicinal plants documented from across the country’s diverse bio-geographical zones.

Open to students, environmentalists, artists and curious minds alike, this walk is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature’s roots, and reflect on the heritage of healing.

Please note: Transportation for the walk will be organised from MAP on 25th April at 9 am.

Conversations continue at the Herbarium Workshop at MAP on Sunday, 26, April.

This programme is part of the Food & Medicine Weekend, in conjunction with the exhibition Paper Gardens.
