Fable to Folk: Ancient Stories, Modern Voices
Fable to Folk: Ancient Stories, Modern Voices invites children aged 8–12 on a transformative five-day theatrical journey through India’s storytelling treasures. Led by theatre practitioner Lekha Naidu, participants will explore enchanting tales from the Panchatantra, Jataka Tales, and works of A.K. Ramanujan through dynamic theatre games and creative improvisation. Children will reimagine timeless characters and narratives with their own "Gen-Alpha" perspective, developing essential skills in communication, teamwork, and creative expression. Each day deepens their connection to our rich cultural heritage while building confidence, clarity, and imaginative thinking. The workshop culminates in a showcase where young performers share their newly crafted interpretations with family and friends. This immersive experience offers a perfect blend of cultural enrichment and contemporary expression, nurturing young minds, bodies, and souls in a screen-free, imagination-rich environment.
