Event Description
Architectural historian Dr. Vikramaditya Prakash will present work from his forthcoming book titled Indian future Modernism: Le Corbusier, Chandigarh and the Incomplete Work, examining the contemporary relevance of postcolonial Indian modernism. Arguing against preservation as fossilization, Prakash will make the case of conserving the modernist ethos as a living design ethic, purposed to rethinking tomorrow. He will be introduced by Nia Thandapani.
