Natyarani Shanthala is a dance-theatre production inspired by the life of the Hoysala queen, Shanthala Devi. Scripted and performed by Shraavya Satyanarayan, the piece unfolds as a journey through Shanthala’s life, weaving together expressive narration interspersed with dance. Rooted in history and enriched by oral traditions, this production reimagines her story as a work of historical fiction.
