Over the past few years, we’ve been thinking a lot about how kids grow up around technology — swiping, tapping, watching — but rarely building with it. Most don’t know what goes behind the tech they use. And as parents, we often feel screen time isn’t ideal — but we’re not always sure what the alternative is.

Now with the rise of AI, it’s easy to believe we don’t need to understand how technology works — that it’ll just do the thinking for us.
But we believe the opposite: understanding technology has never been more important.

That’s why we launched PlayQuakes — to empower children to create with technology rather than just consume it.

We use interdisciplinary, project-based learning to integrate technology with subjects such as history, architecture, and design — so kids don’t just consume the world around them, they learn to question it, reimagine it, and build it.

Little Architects of Bengaluru is a hands-on workshop where children aged 9–14 explore technology, design, and history by building their own lit-up city models.

Over three immersive hours, participants will learn the basics of electricity, explore the architecture and history of India, and reimagine Bengaluru using creative tech tools.

Led by a team of passionate educators who believe in empowering children to create with technology—not just consume it—through interdisciplinary project-based learning.

This workshop is designed to spark curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and help kids understand what goes behind the tech they use every day
