Event Description

On the occasion of Gowri Jayanti, join us at Sabha for Bhakti Sangeetam, an evening of Carnatic music featuring three young musicians — vocalist Charvi R Saralaya, violinist Inchara N, and mridangist Samvith R.S.

The concert brings together three young practitioners who have been immersed in the classical tradition from an early age. 

Charvi has trained in Carnatic vocal music for over a decade under Vidushi Kanchana Shriranjani and is a recipient of the CCRT Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture. She has performed extensively across Karnataka and was among the Top 19 contestants on Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 19.

Violinist Inchara N began learning violin and vocal music at the age of five under Vidushi Kanchana Shruthiranjani. She has received distinction in the Junior Carnatic Classical Vocal and Instrument examinations and has performed at venues and platforms including Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava, Sri Madhwa Mantapa in Udupi, Ayush TV and DD Chandana.

Mridangist Samvith R.S. began his training at the age of three under Vidwan K.U. Jayachandra Rao. He has received distinction in his Junior Grade examination and has performed at the Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival, Chandana TV, Ayush TV, Sri Madhwa Mantapa in Udupi and several other musical venues and sabhas.

Together, these young musicians bring the depth of a living tradition into an evening of music, devotion and youthful energy.
