The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPB) intends to set up a coordination committee to keep a watch on air and noise pollution in Bangalore. The decision was reached at, at the Karnataka High Court, following a public interest litigation that raised concerns about the levels of pollution in the city.
The committee will comprise officials from the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).
