Indrajit Khambe
Born in 1981 and raised in Sindhudurg, Indrajit Khambe has spent his life deeply connected to the region’s landscape and communities, which continue to be the greatest source of inspiration for his work.
As a child, he explored painting before developing a fascination with agriculture, captivated by the transformation of a tiny seed into something abundant and life-giving. That same sense of growth resurfaced when he bought his first camera in 2012. Photography became a seed he planted within himself—one that he has continued to nurture over the years. Since then, his artistic journey has been one of continual self-discovery, using photography as a means to better understand both himself and the world around him.
