Every parent lives inside a split, between who they were and who they’re becoming, between career and care, and between the parent they want to be and the one social conditioning trained them to be.

Most of us experience this as guilt and assume it’s personal. This session looks at where that tension really comes from: the psychological transition of becoming a parent, or matrescence, and the larger structural realities of care work.

The flea market will open from 10:30 am onwards.
If someone has purchased a workshop ticket, they are welcome to come earlier and explore the flea market before their workshop begins. Otherwise, they can arrive directly at the time of the workshop they have signed up for.

No, 21 Aug is for educators only. Saturday, 22nd August is for families.
