Students who completed their BEd (Bachelor's Degree in Education) at Bangalore City College a year ago, are yet to be issued their degree marks cards, resulting in their inability to get jobs. The students were asked to pay Rs 5000 in order to get a one line photocopy of the results and now, the students allege that the college was demanding more money to issue the marks cards.
It is noteworthy that the college, affiliated to Bangalore University, was blacklisted by the university and also had a show-cause notice imposed on them for irregularities.
