Comic Con returns to Bangalore, promising to be bigger and better this time around. After the successful run of Comic Con Express last September, where many turned up to enjoy themselves and take part, Bangalore has found itself being tagged as an annual stop for comic exhibition.

The event will be held at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium on June 1 and 2. Comic Con will not only feature Indian publishers, but also international publications like Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse Comics. Creators, artists and writers of popular comics and graphic novels will also hold workshops.

Jatin Varma, founder, Comic Con India, said, “Thanks to the tremendous response to the event last year, we felt a permanent event was required for the city. It gives us great pleasure in announcing ‘Bangalore Comic Con 2013’. For the first time, we have brought in international exhibitors for a convention. We hope to expand and build on this and provide Bangalore its biggest pop-culture event of the year.”
