The BBMP has claimed to have filled as many as 35,000 potholes over the past three months. They have further stated that only 3,000 more potholes remain to be filled.

Motorists in the city though disagree vehemently claiming despite BBMP's pothole filling drive, a large part of the city's roads remain in a shambles.

The BBMP's claims though seemed to be based on reports that they may have received from officials and engineers, rather than a physical inspection.
