Thousands of employees were evacuated from the Wipro campus in Doddakannelli, Sarjapur Road after a bomb threat. The Police received an anonymous letter stating the facility had been rigged with as many as 19 bombs.

The news had the Bomb detection squad rushing to the campus and searching for two hours before they declared the threat as a hoax.
