Reaffirming that he understands the global and cosmopolitan appeal that Bangalore holds, chief minister Siddaramaiah announced a Rs 908 crore package for the city. Siddaramaiah also put paid to suggestions that he was anti-Bangalore saying, "My government will bring back the glory of IT City."
The chief minister will also be doing monthly rounds of the city to assess the status and determine what steps are to be taken.
Siddaramaiah also promised to fix Bangalore's roads soon saying, "I understand that Bangalore is not limited to Karnataka but has an international stature. Many companies want to invest in Bangalore. They should not shy away after looking at the roads here."
