The incumbent Congress in Karnataka claims that while there may be a lot of media attention and Social Network posts dedicated to the Aam Aadmi Party, but according to a survey commissioned to assess the AAP's effect, its prospects in Bangalore and the rest of the state are bleak.
Congress leaders declared that all the attention and rush to be a part of the AAP is mainly due to "peer pressure" or "to impress girlfriends". They have written it off as a fad.
They did admit though, that the youth segment is most "vulnerable" to the AAP's claims and mandate and that could dent their vote-share.
