Event Description

An exhibition delving into the lives and influences of the two artists, Meera Mukherjee and Jaidev Baghel, that emerged within the context of modernism and the cultural identity of newly-independent India. Set within the backdrop of traditional crafts and artistic identity, this exhibition explores metal casting practice of Bastar Dhokra and how the artists navigated a dynamic cultural landscape.
