Located near the Malleswaram Rotary Club, CTR has been serving delectable dosas since time immemorial. The food does entail a short wait due to the limited seating, but it definitely is worth the wait. One of the best Masala dosas in town, this ghee roasted delicacy is a delight to the senses. The smokiness of the ghee along with a crispy layer enveloping an aloo subzi which is a bit on the spicy side. Combine it with the chutneys and you got a masterful creation. Also in contention is the Benne Masala Dosa.

One of the most famous bakeries in the city, Iyengar Bakery is famous for a wide variety of items like Potato bun, apple cake, khara bun, dil pasand, honey cake and benne biscuit. The fresh products and incomparable taste leave a mark on your palate. A non-descript little shop, you can’t mistake it thanks to with long queue outside it.

Harima - Run by Japanese owners, Harima is an exclusive Japanese restaurant in Bangalore.This restaurant is on the fourth floor of Devatha Plaza on Residency Road. The Sushi and Sashimi cannot be faulted and the Tempura and Yakitori should please those who want to stick with the familiar. If you wish to be a little more adventurous, go for the Wafu Steak or the Stewed Pork. They serve an excellent Roast Beef, too. The cold Soba Noodles could be just the way to round off a meal. If you want they will serve a light soup at the end of the meal. Well that is how the Japanese like it.
