Bangalore on My Plate

I was born in a foodie family and come with a hotel management background, so I have always been a food lover. But it was here in Bangalore that I have evolved into a complete foodie as this city offers some of the best of international and regional cuisine in India. I have no qualms in declaring Namma Bengaluru as the future food capital of India.
Among my favourite places, few are listed below:

Coringa
Well if you are looking for the best seafood in Bangalore served a’la Andhra especially coastal, just head to this place. It is on the way to the Bangalore airport. Kalyan Gopalkrishna, one of the partners will be there to play a perfect host to guests. The menu here is lavish for both vegetarians and non vegetarians and it includes dishes like Pannakam and Ganji, Gummaadikiya Rasam, Benda Kaya, Dibba Roti, Arati Dava Kurra, Kothimiri Kodi with Rice among others.
It would be a cardinal sin if you miss the Jumbo Lobster, Baby Seer Fish, Mega Prawns and Crab Biryani while you are here. They also serve some good Indian wines.

Tim Tai
This place on the eat street in Koramangla is my pick for pan Asian cuisine in Bangalore. It has a lovely ambiance, wonderful hospitality and an excellent location. My pick from the menu are Tom Kha Soup in Pot, Sum Tum Thai, Duck Rolls, Tofu Chili Pepper with 5 Spice, Lotus Stem with Honey Chili, Water Chestnuts and Shitake with Black Pepper Sauce, Tamarind Fish with Red Chilies and choicest desserts.
Byblos
Located in the bustling foodie area of Indiranagar on 100 feet road, this place is the best bet for authentic Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine. The Chef from Lebanon heads the kitchen. The taste here is reminiscent to what I used to have during my stay in the Middle East.

My favourites here are their signature Byblos Hummus (made from Chickpeas), Babaghanouj, Meat Kibbeh , Falafel , Meat Sambousek (Mutton samosa), Shawarma, Samkeh Harra (Lebanese style fish) and Shish Touk (Grilled Chicken cubes). They also have some delicious desserts like Baklava and Mahalabiya.
