Patra ni machhi is a Parsi dish which is made from steamed fish. The fish is topped with chutney, wrapped in a banana leaf and steamed. The favour is got from the chutney which is made from fresh coconut, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, green chillies and lemon juice. This chutney coats the fish to then be steamed in banana leaves.
