Erudite Epicure

Bubur Ayam
This translates to “Chicken Congee” in Indonesian. It is a rice porridge with shredded chicken served with some condiments and Tongcay (preserved salted vegetables). It is a favourite breakfast food, served by humble travelling vendors and Warung (small local shops). The travelling bubur ayam vendors usually pass through the streets of residential areas in the morning selling their wares.
