Halawet El- Riz is an authentic Arabic sweet dish which is made with rice, cheese and cream. Riz literally means rice in Arabic.

The Lebanese dish has a bottom layer of rice and mozzarella cheese while the top layer is of cream with some ground pistachios drizzled on top.

This dessert is a Ramadan favourite.
