Ceviche
This is a popular Latin American snack from the coastal regions. Seafood chopped up served with a lot of lime or citrus and chilli peppers. It is usually topped with onions and coriander. An archaeological record points to ceviche being consumed nearly 2,000 years ago. It is generally believed the origins of the dish lie in the Moorish women from Granada, who accompanied the Spanish conquistadors and colonisers.
