The peas on your plate can drive you crazy. They roll off your plate and sometimes can take flight too. How do you get these dodgy little items to work with you during a meal? There are a couple of ways in fact- the American and the European way.
The Americans, who switch the hand of the fork with each bit, suggest you use the back of the fork to mash the peas. Now it’s easy to scoop the peas onto your fork. The Europeans, on the other hand, don’t use their other hand. Just use other food, like mashed potatoes, to act as an adhesive to paste the peas on.
