The cricketer visited India as Hardys Brand Ambassador. McGrath is a lover of wines and Hardy’s is a flagship 160 year old Australian wine brand. It was a natural collaboration. “A good bowler is kind of like a good wine, we get better with age,” McGrath told Explocity. He visited the vineyards and learnt all about the winemaking process since becoming brand ambassador. The conversation drifted, naturally, towards cricket. “I think bowlers have more fun. The batsmen think they do, but that’s not true. We control the game,” he quipped.
The brand is releasing a special edition of wines with McGrath labelled Art of Cricket.
