My Encounters with Food

I have always been fascinated by food and as they “If others eat to live; a foodie lives to eat”. It is fun to sometimes have food in the most humble way, like eating a plate of Bhel Puri on roadside chaatwala but sometimes having the fine dine experience. Below is a list of my favourite restaurants (not in any order) which I have enjoyed dining at:

JW Kitchen at JW Marriott: A place where you get to experience the pure elegance of a star property. Located on Lavelle Road it has a lovely ambiance with professional service at its best. A perfect place for a family dinner with multi cuisine options where you also get to indulge in making your own chaat at “Make Your Own Chaat” counter.
What I liked: Tom Yum Seafood (Thai) soup, Murg Tikka, Pink sauce pasta, Murg Malai Tikka, Dal Makhani (recommended by Chef as their specialty)

Spice Terrace at JW Marriott: Though there is no special liking only towards the Marriott group, this is one place which is perfect for a romantic poolside dinner as they say for "Under the stars and by the pool". The whole menu is carefully designed by Chef Jolly
What I liked: Kukad Roast [Tandoor Roasted Chicken (Punjabi style)], Chowk ki Tikki (Lucknowi style), Dum ka Murgh, Bhartha Amritsar (Baigan ka Bhartha) accompanied with Indian breads (Tandoori Roti and Missi Roti).

Dum Pukht Jolly Nabobs at ITC Windsor: If you wish experience royalty, this is the place. Wonderful Ambiance! Right from entering the lobby to the restaurant you would be awestruck and amazed by the beautiful work that ITC has done in connecting the two blocks i.e., Windsor and Tower Block.
What I liked: Murg Chandi Tikka, Hara Kebab, Murg Bemisal, Qaar-E-Pukhtan, Kache Ghost Biryani, Subz Biryani, Naan Bakhumaach, Warqi Paratha

Mocktails: Fatal Attraction, Italian Smooch, Crocodile Dundee, Juicy Julep & Maui Fizz

Chili’s: One of the few restaurants where in you would get to enjoy and indulge in true TexMex experience. Located on Indiranagar 100 feet Road. As you enter the place the one thing that strikes you is the vastness of the setup. This is the largest setup of Chili's in India with 4 levels of space catering to different group of clientele base. The Level 0 is for family, Level 1 has a bar attached, Level 2 for corporate events / parties and Outdoor seating which is great for re-unions and get together. Overall I quite liked their ambiance.

What I liked: Triple Dipper Veg consisted of Fried Quesadilla Bites, cheese Poppers and South Western Rolls along with Raunch Sauce & Sour Cream, Triple Dipper Non Veg consisted of Tempura Chicken Crispers, Buffalo Meat Burgers and Boneless Chicken Wings, Mushroom Jacked Chicken Fajita, Jambalaya New Orleans [Perfectly flavored rice, shrimps with tiny strips of bacon] & Explosion Chicken [Cheesy quesadilla side and crunchy tortilla bits] Salad.
