What’s a day of shopping without eating out? That's why we love malls. A one stop for both the needs. This week we headed out to Orion Mall to explore the food there. And there are many fun options for dining at the mall.

Located in the Brigade Gateway Enclave in Malleshwaram,Orion Mall is picturesque with a lake and a lakeside promenade perfect to stroll along in the Bangalore weather. After a long afternoon of shopping it is the perfect place for some .

If you are looking for fine dining choices, there are many. We are huge fans ofKobe Sizzlers. At the heart of menu is the selection of sizzlers, which they have been perfecting since 1975. For the meat lover the T-bone steak sizzler is the must-have here.

A romantic Italian option is the Toscano Restaurant and Wine Bar. Bangaloreans are very familiar and in love with this restaurant because of its intimate yet vibrant atmosphere. Toscano offers an amazing menu from gourmet pizzas to multi course dinners. They also have a carefully curated wine-list with 32 varieties of wine from across the globe.

If you fancy some Mughlai delicacies, Zaffran is the place to visit. With its authentic menu and stunning interiors, Zaffran has established itself as a gourmet destination.The dish to try here is the Zaffran signature butter chicken, a very special and very rich take on this eternal favourite.

It is universally agreed that Tiki is a lot of fun, whether it is fruity cocktails or the Cubano sandwiches.The Big Kahuna has the best Wiki Wiki wings in town. The well-made Tiki cocktails are just an add on. The sliders are a big hit here and the Mauna Loa sliders our recommendation.
A day out cannot be complete without some Chinese fare. Mainland China has been the the name good quality Chinese food. The Fukien crab meat fried rice is Fukein good. We also loved the seasonal vegetables in a Mahlak sauce served in a traditional claypot, which also makes for some drama at the table.

If American style grub is your thing, you should visit Chili’s, the popular American brand. Tex Mex-style menu and Margaritas - what’s not to love. Try the Terlingua Chili, named after the place of the famous Chili cook off. You can order a cup or bowl, depending how hungry you are.

Mr. Hong is for when you want Asian flavours. They serve up a contemporary rendition of the Chinese Tea House concept with a fusion twist, incorporating culinary influences from across South East Asia. The Dumplings are the highlight of the Mr. Hong menu. The crispy lotus sriracha chilli is also an exotic choice.

If you just wanna relax and cosy up Café Noir is the place for you. This is the quintessential Parisian café come to town. Great food and great coffee. Café Noir also serves light meals such as Caesar salad, fish soup and other French favourites.

Café Mangii has Italian munchies, appetisers and coffee. It is a casual all day restaurant that has handpicked gourmet delicacies. Don't forget to try their Neapolitan wood-fired oven pizza, baked in a live wood-fired oven counter.

If you wanna let your hair down head to the Bollywood themed lounge The Studio Bar. They have a fine selection at their bar, all served with some yummy finger food. To shake it all off.

If you are interested in just a quick bite and nothing more to come between your shopping needs opt for the food court Sauce Pan. It designed for a quick meal or snack with a vast choice of brands - from Mcdonald's, Subway, Sbarro, Rajdhani, Kailash Parbat, Empire, Empire Fresh Fruit Juice Center, Punjabi By Nature, Beijing Bites, Mad over Donuts and Sukhsagar to Upsouth and others.

We were spoilt for choice at the Orion Mall. A perfect weekend place.
