The senses stir up varied emotions which remain etched in the memory. Exploring the ethereal connect between all the senses, The Lalit Ashok presents the sixth edition of Theater Konnection.
Theatre enthusiasts and gourmands can watch a play while savouring the handpicked menu from the exquisite buffet of Indian, Continental and Pan-Asian. Each dish has been crafted by Chef Subodh Goyal for a prix fixe menu, which include chilli and dry mushroom powdered sticks, prawns tempura with Kikkoman soya, pesto & artichoke with wild mushrooms, served with crostini and an oyster bar with condiments.
The food is coupled with They All Fell! – A series of four short plays which attempt to explore and reflect everyday interactions in a hilarious fashion & a new light.
On bringing the concept of food and theatre together, Amit Samson, General Manager, The Lalit Ashok said, “We believe that good food not only enhances the overall experience of the performance by virtue of its taste, it also helps build the cultural context.”
The Grand Ball Room at The Lalit Ashok is the place to be at on March 8, 7.30pm onward.
