This festive season, the Taj group of hotels promises to spoil you with a lavish celebration.
The Taj hotels across the city are celebrating Christmas with much fervour. From hampers to full-fledged feasts, each hotel has something to indulge the festive foodie.
From Dec 16 to 31, the Taj West End is housing a Christmas counter at their lobby. Guests can choose from gingerbread houses, chocolates, plum puddings and hampers. Mynt, the 24hour international coffee shop at the hotel will host Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas day brunch featuring a traditional menu crafted by Chef Sandip Narang and his team. With unlimited Moet & Chandon and mulled wine, the dinner is priced at Rs 2500 plus taxes whereas brunch is priced at Rs 3500 plus taxes. From December 22 to 30, the Vietnamese restaurant, Blue Ginger will serve an Asian Christmas menu created by Chef Dong and his team. The menu is priced at Rs 3500 plus taxes.
At The Gateway Hotel, Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas day brunch will be served at GAD. Chef Naren Thimmaiah and his team will create a holiday inspired menu for the buffet. Dinner will be served from 9:00 pm onwards and is priced at Rs 1900 (AI) per person. Brunch, paired with a selection of cocktails and unlimited sparkling wine and beer, is priced at Rs 1900 (AI) per person. From December 21 – 31, the Deli at the hotel has Christmas hampers filled with goodies on offer.
Vivanta by Taj on MG Road too has a long list of celebrations lined up. Café Mozaic is hosting a Christmas Eve buffet with delicacies like stuffed roast turkey served with cranberry coulis, from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm at Rs 1400 plus taxes per person. On Christmas day, the restaurant is hosting Breakfast with Santa for Rs 650 plus taxes. This is followed by a Christmas Day brunch from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Rs 2000 plus taxes per person. The fine-dining European restaurant, Graze is also hosting a Christmas Eve buffet. Paired with a selection of fine wines, the experience is priced at Rs 2500. The buffet timings are 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Chef Ramasamy Selvaraju and his team will create the menu for Café Mozaic and Graze’s festive offerings. Chef William Tong and his team will bring out the flavours of China at the Christmas Eve dinner at Memories of China.
The hotel’s confectionary, Sugar & Spice has a range of Christmas goodies, hampers and take-aways on offer.
