The Lobby Lounge at the Shangri-La is set to host, what may be the longest brunch in the city.
The Independence Day brunch will feature the longest cake - we’re not sure longest where - 70 feet long, one foot for each of our 70 years of independence.
The brunch buffet and cocktails represent India and have a tricoloured theme. There will be three buffet courses to keep with the “tri” theme.
The celebrations go beyond food with two live bands, a DJ and percussionist and karaoke. The entertainment also includes cooking classes as well as games and activities for the our nation’s young and restless.
The “longest brunch” starts at 11am and continues all the way to 11pm on 15th August, 2016. The prices are Rs 2299 plus taxes without alcohol and Rs 3399 plus taxes with alcohol.
