The fine dining venues at Le Meridien bring in the fun of Indian street food.
Starting December 12, Le Meridien is hosting Masala Galli, a street food festival. The festival will feature street food delicacies from across the country.
Starting with a welcome drink, there is buttermilk, jaljeera (cumin water) and panaka (jaggery, lemon and pepper), also known as Indian lemonade. Move on to the salad bar where there is a live salad tossing counter and other salads. There is also a counter for soups with vegetarian and non-vegetarian shorba.
Main counters include chaat, momo & noodle, burger & sandwich, dosa, tandoor and desserts. There will also be a special counter featuring street food snacks like egg bonda, roasted and boiled corn, uddin vada and lots more. Other counters featuring rajma, rice, kheema gosht, achari kofta curry and Indian bread will also be present. The buffet section will feature Hyderabadi biryani.
The festival is priced at Rs 1650 and includes unlimited beer, wine or an alcohol of choice. Timings: 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
