The Royal Afghan, which was previously open only for dinner has now decided that the gourmands of Bangalore deserve more opportunities to experience the award winning delicacies that this restaurant is renowned for.
Located under a sprawling Peepal tree beside the swimming pool, the Royal Afghan is the epitome of authentic North-West Frontier cuisine. Dal bukhara, sikandri raan, samundhri khazana and tandoori Shimla mirch with pudina paratha are among the popular choices for mains. Desserts include classics like phirni and rasmalai.
Keeping in mind the worldly guest list, an exhaustive wine list is also available which promises to complement the flavour of the food.
With an ethnic ambiance to suit, the restaurant also allows a view of the chefs in the kitchen, giving guests a wholesome experience of the food.
Lunch timings are from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the weekends. The restaurant is open for dinner from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on all days of the week.
