All the Taj hotels in town plan to bring in the new year with special food menus, beverages and DJs.
At Taj West End DJ Ivan brings beats. There is also a buffet and spirits on offer. There is a VIP package with access to the premium stage and regular package with access to the main stage. The VIP package gets you to the premium stage in Blue Bar and dinner at Blue Ginger and unlimited beverages. This is priced at Rs 14000 for a couple. Stags pay Rs 10000 and single women pay Rs 7000. The main stage is at Prince of Wales Lawns with a buffet in the tennis court and unlimited spirits. Entry is Rs 7500 for a couple, Rs 6000 for stags and Rs 4000 for single females.
At Mynt, there is a three-piece band and a DJ. The buffet is Indian, Italian and Lebanese and unlimited beverages. This is priced at Rs 9000 for couples, Rs 5000 for singles and Rs 2800 for children.
Masala Klub has a five-course menu and premium liquors. You also get access to Mynt and a glass of Champagne as a welcome drink. This meal is priced at Rs 9500 for couples, Rs 5000 for singles and Rs 2800 for children below 12 years of age.
At Tamarind at Taj Bangalore, Executive Chef Alok Anand has created a menu for the occasion. The menu is priced at Rs 3200 plus taxes without alcohol and Rs 3900 plus taxes with alcohol.
Soi & Sake offers a Japanese menu and a live band to go along with that. The prices are same as Tamarind. Cafe 77 has a buffet with global cuisine, liquor and entertainment. This is priced at Rs 2750 plus taxes without alcohol and Rs 3500 plus taxes with alcohol.
The Gateway has a feast by Chef Naren Thimmaiah at Northern Gate and Karavalli. ON 31 December, 2016, at Northern gate there is a buffet with a party lounge in the lower lobby. This is priced at Rs 5900 plus taxes per person and starts at 7:30pm all the way to 12:30am. There is also a brunch on 1 January, 2017 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm that is priced at Rs 2750 plus taxes per person.
The brunch at Karavalli is on 1 January, 2017 and is priced at Rs 2250 plus taxes per person. The menu by Chef Thimmaiah focuses on flavours of the forgotten herbs.
Garden Side on 31 December has a DJ and a buffet, There is also access to a party lounge. This is priced at Rs 5900 plus taxes per person.
