Eat some of the spiciest food in the world to keep cool at PinXX

This summer eat some of the spiciest food in the world to keep cool. Food from Andhra is considered to be some of the spiciest in the world and will be featured in the Andhra food festival at PinXX Royal Orchid Central.

You’d think it would be counterintuitive (if not counterproductive) to consume extremely spicy food in hot climates. Apparently, it’s the opposite. Uber spicy Andhra food immediately makes you break into a sweat. Sweat cools the system down. So instead of a cooling drink like a lemonade, people in Andhra eat an extra spicy Andhra meal say, in Rayalseema, where summers routinely cross 50°C.

At PinXX all manners of Telugu food are included. There is Ragi from Rayalseema which is known for it’s production and use of millets, jaggery from Uttarandhra, Gongura and more. The cuisine is rich in seafoods and meats. At PinXX they will be served with some cooling drinks as well.

The meal is available in thali style and a-la carte. The thali is priced at Rs 250 per person.
