The Movenpick appears to have many options to choose from this season. The Christmas weekend is packed with good cheer. My Place, the all-day dining restaurant at the hotel has a weekend of festive offers.

On 24 December, 2016, there is a buffet with roast turkey, suckling pig, baked snapper, stuffed chicken, Blackened Grilled Chicken, Blanched Tentacles, Chilly Basil Squid, fish in pesto sauce, chopped ham, bacon and more. The entertainment for the evening is French singer Marine who is accompanied by a live band.

Matuli Swain, the hotel’s Communications Manager, was particularly enthusiastic. “We have the finest spread for our guests and patrons this Christmas. The buffet has the finest menu of traditional and international recipes and winter beverages to pair with,” she told Explocity.

The Christmas Eve dinner is from 6pm to 1130pm. The buffet is priced at Rs 2419 without alcohol and Rs 2749 with alcohol. For kids, the price is Rs 1249. Christmas brunch will be available from noon to 4pm. The brunch will also have traditional Christmas dishes like roast turkey, suckling pig, Beef Wellington, and lamb chops. The brunch buffet will also have other dishes like an Indian Champ-e-Peshawari. Marine and band will be joined by Santa on Christmas.

While the kids get Santa, the adults get Christmas cocktails. These include Winter Sangria, Winter Shamal Bubbly Punch and a Christmas Mulled Wine.

The Christmas brunch has the same pricing as the Christmas Eve dinner.
